Hi everyone, do all of you understand the process of sea freight? Let’s explore the process of handling sea freight together.
Since 2020, WePost eCommerce company has already handled the process such as container loading, custom declaration export and customs clearance import, parcel sorting, and parcel delivery independently.
How about the other competitor of the same profession?
99% of competitor’s forwarding service is done by the third-party companies. The forwarding service includes container loading, customs clearance and delivery. This could help in saving money and need not have warehouses in both Malaysia and China.
However, the shipping company cannot control the shipping schedule of the container loading and also the order of customs clearance and priority of delivery. Because the shipping company will need to cooperate with different shipping companies (competitor) to achieve enough cargo load.
Thus, we began to carry out the jobs such as customs clearance, parcel sorting and also parcel delivery independently in February this year. It is to guarantee the efficiency of our shipping process.
Every single process such as loading parcels in China and unloading parcels in Malaysia are all done by our WePost team without involving any third party anymore.
In the past six months, we can see from the comments page that users gave a lot of praises to our delivery efficiency. We can deliver their parcels within 15 day through sea freight. At the same time, there are also some comments indicating that we need to improve our work efficiency.
To increase the customer’s confidence towards us, we will provide the package photos of particular parcels once it arrives.
Moreover, all of our branches’ Malacca site, Kuala Lumpur site, and North Malaysia site will use our shipment update system to notify customers about the arrival of packages and other logistics related information. Customers can see accurate delivery procedures through this system.
This only can be done by independently handle all the procedures without cooperating with other third-party shipping companies. Besides, our headquarter is located in Johor, the port that we used is the fastest China freight route in Malaysia, all of our parcels could finish the custom clearance process within three working days.
Sending parcels within Johor area is also handled by our own delivery team. In the coming 11th November, please do not worry about our sea freight service as we no longer cooperate with other third party companies to load and unload our parcels. This could avoid any of the delay incidents during 11th November.
